BIBLE PASSAGE: Matthew 18:7 "Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!"

‎WORD FOR TODAY

‎It is clear that the person who chooses to forgive is not weak, neither is he a fool.

‎When we forgive offences and show love, we release ourselves from unnecessary bondage.

‎However, there are people whose joy is getting others offended. No matter how calm, loving and forgiving a person is, they are determined to trigger them until they get angry. (Proverbs 17:9)

‎God is not happy with this. And Jesus said such a person should be cast into the sea with a grinding stone tied to his neck. This shows how much value God places on the soul of every person. (Matthew 18:6)

‎When you speak and it stirs up anger in people, or you speak so harshly that people have to caution you that it is too much, then this message is for you.

‎You may say you talk bluntly and you are honest with your words, but always bear in mind the souls you are casting down. ‎Change!

‎Matthew 18:7 ...but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

‎PRAYER: Father, please give a heart that loves people the way You love them.
